A long time ago, Courtney Barnett would play "How To Boil An Egg" at open mics in her native Australia before making it big. Yet it never got recorded. While she was hunkered down recording demos for her next album, Barnett decided to experiment with one of the first songs she ever wrote by updating it for inclusion on a Split Singles Club release.
